If you charge at home on a charger connected to Spirii, you pay your own electricity price directly to your electricity company. However, you can receive a refund of the electricity fee directly from Spirii.
With a Spirii Connect service agreement, you receive a refund of the electricity fee of the power you use on the charge box at home. In other words, you pay the electricity fee to your electric company like everyone else, but you will be refunded for the consumption you have had on the charger in the month in question. Every month we calculate your usage on your charger for the previous month. We can communicate with your charge box and obtain the consumption online via the SIM card in the charger or by connecting the charger to your WIFI. Once we have calculated the consumption of the period, we pay out the amount corresponding to your kWh consumption x the reimbursement rate.
As of the 1st of July 2023, the reimbursement rate is 75,7 øre per kWh. This means that you get DKK 0.757 back per kWh that you spend on charging at home on the charger.
Example: You have used 200kWh on your charger during a month. We will therefore pay 200*0.757kr = 151,4kr back to you in reimbursement the following month.
Payments are made during the first half of the month. Once you receive the refund statement, you can expect to receive the payment within 7 business days to the account you have provided. 💳
Please note, that you can only receive an electricity fee refund if you pay full fee on your electricity. If you have solar panels, geothermal heating, electric heating or other self-generated electricity that you do not pay electricity fee for, you are not eligible for an electricity fee refund through us. You can check with your electricity company if you pay the full electricity fee.
